It eventually came to a tragic end. In 1959, on February 03, Buddy and his newly formed band was in a plane crash, which would later be known as, "The Day The Music Died". Well, the answer is Lubbock, Texas produces more cotton than any other city in the state of Texas with 415,871 bales of cotton produced a year.
